De Primera División, tot 2017 Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano is de nationale voetbalcompetitie van Bolivia.

**Bolivia - Apertura**

Het Bolivia - Apertura is een professioneel voetbaltoernooi dat wordt georganiseerd door de Bolivian Football Federation (FBF). Het is het eerste van de twee nationale kampioenschappen die elk jaar worden gehouden in Bolivia.

**Formaat**

* Het toernooi bestaat uit 16 teams die in een halve competitie tegen elkaar spelen.
* Elk team speelt 30 wedstrijden, thuis en uit tegen alle andere teams.
* De top vier teams aan het einde van het reguliere seizoen plaatsen zich voor de play-offs.
* De play-offs worden gespeeld in knock-out formaat, met halve finales en een finale.
* De winnaar van de play-offs wordt gekroond tot kampioen van de Bolivia - Apertura.

**Geschiedenis**

* Het Bolivia - Apertura werd voor het eerst gehouden in 1977.
* The Strongest is de meest succesvolle club in de geschiedenis van het toernooi, met 16 titels.
* Bolívar en Wilstermann volgen met respectievelijk 12 en 8 titels.
