Wikipedia - NOFV-Oberliga Nord

The NOFV-Oberliga Nord is the fifth tier of the German football league system in the northern states of the former East Germany and West Berlin. It covers the German states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and northern Saxony-Anhalt. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier.

**Duitsland - Oberliga NOFV-Nord**

De Oberliga NOFV-Nord is een Duitse voetbaldivisie op het vijfde niveau van het Duitse voetbalsysteem. De competitie bestaat uit clubs uit de Noord-Duitse deelstaten Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren en Brandenburg.

**Historie**

De Oberliga NOFV-Nord werd in 2014 opgericht als opvolger van de NOFV-Oberliga Nord. De eerste kampioen van de competitie was TSG Neustrelitz.

**Format**

De Oberliga NOFV-Nord bestaat uit 16 clubs die elk twee keer tegen elkaar spelen, thuis en uit. De kampioen promoveert naar de Regionalliga Nordost, terwijl de onderste drie clubs degraderen naar de Verbandsliga Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of de Brandenburg-Liga.
