Wikipedia - Liga Nacional de Futsal

The Liga Nacional de Futsal (LNF) is the premier futsal league in Brazil, and was created in 1996 with the purpose of setting up a championship with the best futsal teams of the country, corresponding to the Brazilian Football Championship Série A. It is organized by the Brazilian Futsal Confederation (CBFS).

The league was created in 1996, with the aim to improve the most important Brazilian clubs and help the growth of the sport in the country. The league was inspired by the American basketball league (NBA). On April 27, 1996, the Liga Futsal started.

**Brazilië - Liga Futsal**

De Brazilië - Liga Futsal is de nationale futsalcompetitie van Brazilië. De competitie wordt georganiseerd door de Confederação Brasileira de Futebol de Salão (CBFS). De competitie werd in 1996 opgericht en is in handen van verschillende clubs, waaronder Jaraguá, Malwee/Jaraguá, Corinthians, Ulbra en Atlântico.

De Liga Futsal is een van de sterkste futsalcompetities ter wereld en trekt enkele van de beste futsalspelers ter wereld aan. Het Braziliaanse nationale futsalteam, dat een van de meest succesvolle teams in de geschiedenis van de sport is, bestaat voornamelijk uit spelers uit de Liga Futsal.

Het seizoen van de Liga Futsal loopt van maart tot december. De competitie bestaat uit twee fasen: een reguliere fase en een play-off fase. In de reguliere fase spelen de clubs elkaar twee keer, thuis en uit. De acht beste clubs kwalificeren zich voor de play-off fase, die bestaat uit kwartfinales, halve finales en een finale.

De winnaar van de Liga Futsal kwalificeert zich voor de Copa Libertadores de Futsal, de belangrijkste internationale futsalclubcompetitie van Zuid-Amerika.
