FC Galychyna Drohobych werd opgericht in 1993. De club speelde initially in the regional amateur leagues, maar promoteerde in 2019 naar the Ukrainian Second League. In 2021, won de club the Second League and promoted to the Persha Liha.

FC Galychyna Drohobych speelt its home matches at the Municipal Stadium in Drohobych. The stadium has a capacity of 3.000 zitplaatsen.
