Het basketbalteam van de universiteit van Sacramento State, ook bekend als de Hornets, is het herenteam van de Sacramento State University in Sacramento, Californië. Het team speelt in de NCAA Division I als lid van de Big Sky Conference. De Hornets spelen hun thuiswedstrijden in de Hornets Nest en worden gecoacht door Brian Katz.

Sacramento State heeft nog nooit een NCAA Tournament-wedstrijd gewonnen. Het team heeft echter wel één Big Sky Conference-toernooikampioenschap gewonnen, in 2007. De Hornets hebben ook twee keer de NCAA Division I Tournament bereikt, in 1992 en 1996.
