The Nelson Giants are a New Zealand basketball team based in Nelson. The Giants compete in the National Basketball League (NBL) and play their home games at the Trafalgar Centre. For sponsorship reasons, they are known as the NBS Nelson Giants. The Giants are the only remaining original team from the league's inaugural season, as all other teams have spent at least one year out of the league, for various reasons.
De Nelson Giants zijn een Nieuw-Zeelands professioneel basketbalteam dat gevestigd is in Nelson, Nieuw-Zeeland. Het team speelt in de National Basketball League (NBL) van Nieuw-Zeeland en werd opgericht in 2004. De Giants spelen hun thuiswedstrijden in het Trafalgar Centre en worden gecoacht door Mike Perotot. Sommige van de meest opmerkelijke voormalige spelers van het team zijn Mika Vukona, Todd Blanchfield en Leon Henry.
