Altona City

Altona City SC is an Australian all-inclusive association football (soccer) club from Altona, Victoria, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The club was formed in 1965 with four fundamental countries contributing it its establishment and growth - England, Scotland, Malta and The Netherlands.The club played in the Victorian State League from 1977 to 1981.

In the 2000s the club then come one of the heavy hitters in women's soccer having a team in the WPL, The club's most notable alumni include Socceroos great Alan Edward Davidson and current Socceroo Jason Davidson. The club has produced many Socceroos and is one of major development clubs in Victoria.

Altona City is een Australische voetbalclub uit Altona North, een voorstad van Melbourne in de staat Victoria. De club komt uit in de National Premier Leagues Victoria 1, het tweede niveau van het Australische voetbal.

Altona City werd opgericht in 1959 als Altona SC. In 1976 veranderde de club zijn naam in Altona City SC. De club kende zijn grootste successen in de jaren tachtig en negentig, toen ze drie keer de Victorian Premier League wonnen (in 1988, 1990 en 1992) en één keer de National Soccer League Cup (in 1990).

In 2004 degradeerde Altona City naar de Victorian Premier League. In 2016 keerde de club terug naar de National Premier Leagues Victoria.

Altona City speelt zijn thuiswedstrijden in het Paisley Park Stadium in Altona North. Het stadion heeft een capaciteit van 5.000 toeschouwers.
